Chris Rock Adds ‘Blackout’ Gigs
A second leg of Chris Rock’s “Total Blackout” Tour has been announced in North America and the United Kingdom.
The new stretch of shows includes many two-night stands in markets like Seattle; Washington, D.C.; and New York. The first new stint in the run is Sept. 7-8 in Chicago and the last is Jan. 26-27, 2018 in London.
The first half of “Total Blackout” is already in full swing and the next place you can catch Rock is at Murat Theatre in Indianapolis May 3-4. He also has a run in Australia and New Zealand planned in June.
Cities, dates and venues are subject to change and more shows are being promised soon.
Tickets for the new gigs go on sale May 6.
Rock first entered the spotlight on “Saturday Night Live,” but came into his own through his comedy specials. In his heyday programs like “Bring The Pain,” “Bigger and Blacker” and “Never Scared” earned him accolades like “the funniest man in America” according to Time Magazine.
