The 56-city North American “State Of The World” shows will include previous “Unbreakable” destinations like Houston, Seattle, Birmingham, Ala. There are also new markets like Toronto, Albuquerque, N.A., and Detroit. The tour opener is in Lafayette, La., on Sept. 7 and the shows continue until Dec. 17, where things wrap up in Atlanta.
The set will include tunes from Janet’s most recent album, Unbreakable, and hits from throughout her career.
Tickets go on sale to the general public May 5. Previously held tickets will be honored at the appropriate market.
Janet’s fans will no doubt be delighted, as she had rescheduled her “Unbreakable” dates three times since 2015. One fan was so upset she even filed a class-action lawsuit against Live Nation over the refusal to provide refunds.
Unfortunately the news isn’t all good, as Janet also confirmed on Twitter today that she has seperated from her husband and the two are in court. Their son, Eissa, was born in January.
