Batiste claims the beat and horn sections from his songs “Hip Jazz” and “World of Blues” influenced the breakthrough hit “Thrift Shop” and that “Neon Cathedral” was influenced by three of his works, according to TMZ.
Batiste has reportedly sued dozens of producers and record label execs, T-Pain, Rick Ross, DJ Khaled and Pitbull for allegedly lifting his music.
