From ACL To Jay Z

Shortly after announcing its “full lineup” including Red Hot Chili Peppers, Chance The Rapper, and The Killers on top of the bill, Austin City Limits Music Festival added someone you may have heard of: Jay Z.

Mr. Beyoncé’s only other dates this year are at both V Festivals in England Aug. 19-20 and at his own Made In America festival in Philadelphia Sept. 2.

This year the Austin, Texas, festival’s other big draws include Gorillaz, Martin Garrix, The XX, Solange, and many others.

Austin City Limits takes over Zilker Park Oct. 6-8 and 13-15. Organizer C3 Presents announced $6.3 million will be provided to fund Austin Parks, moving total contributions to that cause to more than $26 million in the last 11 years.

Some artists like Cut Copy, Kyle, Alison Wonderland, Joseph and Thundercat only play on the first weekend, while Glass Animals, O.A.R., Getter, Eagles Of Death Metal, and Broods take the stage on the second weekend only.

Other major draws are Ryan Adams, The Head And The Heart, Run The Jewels, Foster The People, Vance Joy, Tove Lo, Milky Chance, Portugal. The Man, and A$AP Ferg.

There is also a slew of homegrown Texas talent at the fest, including Spoon, Cody Jinks, The Black Angels, Lukas Nelson & Promise Of The Real, C3 Presents, and many more.

It will also be streamed live on Red Bull TV.

Three-day general admission and VIP tickets are on sale now. Kids 10 and younger get in free.
