Japandroids has released what The Ringer has called “one of the best pure rock ‘n’ roll albums of the decade” and is bringing its live show to a venue near you.

The album, Near To The Wild Heart Of Life, is available for download now. A new 7” record featuring “North East South West off the latest LP and  a cover of “Fire In The Western World,” is also available through the band’s store and can be streamed on May 16.

The newest dates for Japandroids start with a run in Canada, from Oct. 13-24. The party then moves into the Northeastern, Midwestern, and eventually Southern U.S. The last date is currently Nov. 10 in New Orleans.

Cloud Nothings is supporting most of the newly announced dates.

Tickets to the new leg go on sale May 12.

In the coming months Japandroids will be in Europe, Australia and New Zealand, with June and August featuring plenty of festival plays.
