Rise Against Unleashes ‘The Violence’

A new album is on the way for Rise Against and the band will be rocking North America in the coming months to bring the tunes to the masses.

The band’s first NA plans this year are co-headline dates with Deftones and special guest Thrice. Those gigs start in Chicago June 9 and continue until July 9 in Phoenix. After that there are two summer headline shows for Rise Against scheduled at the Shrine Expo Hall in Los Angeles July 13-14.

There are also fall headline dates going on sale soon. Those gigs start in Abbotsford, British Columbia, on Sept. 14 and continue until Oct. 6 in Asbury Park, N.J. Tickets to those dates go on sale May 12, 13 and 19, depending on the date.

The forthcoming album is titled Wolves and comes out June 9. A lyric video for the song “The Violence” is available for viewing now.

Fans who pre-order the album get “The Violence” immediately.

The next places fans can catch Rise Against is actually in South America. They play in Santiago, Chile, tomorrow with Linkin Park, and are at Shrine Expo Hall in Sao Paulo, Brazil, on May 13.
