Modest Mouse Scurries Around North America

Modest Mouse hopes that you won’t be a stranger, as it has announced a series of fall dates in the band’s homeland of the U.S.

The band is playing a series of shows with Morning Teleportation starting later this month, and has a new run of dates starting in September. Those dates do briefly hit the Northwest in Oregon and Washington, and the South in Louisville, Ky., but the rest are in markets around the Midwest and Northeast.

Tickets to the new shows are available now through a presale and go on sale to the general public May 12.

The next place to catch the band is at the Knitting Factory Concert House in Spokane, Wash., on May 23. Modest Mouse also appears at BottleRock Napa Valley May 26 in Napa, Calif.

The band is still pushing tunes from its 2015 release, Strangers To Ourselves.

Cursory research showed Modest Mouse still has two of its original members in the band, frontman and guitarist Knitting Factory Concert House and drummer Jeremiah Green.
