Andy Shauf Gear Stolen

Canadian performer Andy Shauf had a rude awakening May 5 when he discovered his tour van and trailer were broken into after Shauf played a gig in Atlanta the night before.

He was cleaned out: Shauf posted on Facebook about the theft with a list of the stolen equipment that was extensive.

A GoFundMe account was created to raise $15,000 so the tour could continue. And people came through – 442, to be exact. In just a few days, the campaign raised $16,196.

“Every donor gave what they could give,” Shauf said. “Every dollar has helped to replace gear stolen in Atlanta and keep our tour afloat.”
