Outlaw Music Festival Sneaks In September Routing
Willie Nelson and company have added more stops to the Outlaw Music Festival routing in one lucky region of the U.S. The Avett Brothers, Eric Church, Sheryl Crow, Margo Price, Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real and more are all planning on joining Willie for select dates.

We last heard about the tour as a run of six shows in July hitting the regional South, Midwest and Northeast. Those shows include a gig during Milwaukee’s Summerfest. The lineup changes from gig to gig, with the biggest constant factor being Willie Nelson and the Family.
Now there are additional gigs in the Northeast, starting Sept. 8 in Holmdel, N.J. and ending Sept. 17 in Camden, N.J. There are also stops in Pennsylvania, Ohio and New York.
Additional artists performing include Blackberry Smoke, Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats, and Particle Kid. While Bob Dylan and Jason Isbell were announced for some of the July gigs, neither is currently listed for the September shows, though additional artists are being planned.
These events are being put on by Nelson and Blackbird Presents, the same company responsible for “The Last Waltz tour,” which recaptures The Band’s famous goodbye concert of 40 years ago.
“After last year’s Outlaw Music Festival, we made it our mission to assemble an extraordinary lineup and bring this experience to music fans all over the country,” Keith Wortman, CEO of Blackbird Presents said. “I’m looking forward to more unforgettable music moments and I’m honored to be working with these incredible musicians.”
Ticket onsales for the September shows begin May 22, but vary from show to show.
