Bob Seger Palace Bound

Bob Seger & The Silver Bullet Band will be playing an additional night in the Detroit market, this time at another of the area’s iconic venues: The Palace of Auburn Hills.

The new show will be Sept. 23. It will reportedly be Seger’s 17th and final time playing the Palace.

Tickets to the new show go on sale June 9 at 10 a.m. His fan club gets first crack at tickets June 6 at 10 a.m.

That is a very good club for him to be in these days. Some were outraged when his solo show at DTE Energy Music Theatre sold out before the public even got a crack at tickets through a general onsale. Most of those tickets reportedly went to Seger’s “Bullet Club” fans.

Seger is from Anne Arbor, Michigan, and came up through the region’s local music scene. He is currently 72, so local fans will not want to miss this chance to catch Bob.

Seger has remained productive through the years. His last album was 2014’s Ride Out, though this concert would no doubt be a trip down memory lane for his fans.
