Jerry Perenchio Dies
Jerry Perenchio, 86, former agent, Univision owner and promoter, died of lung cancer at his Bel Air, Calif., home May 23.
In the 1950s, Perenchio worked as a talent agent at Music Corp. of America run by Lew Wasserman before starting his own agency. Perenchio Artists had a roster including Andy Williams, Glen Campbell, Henry Mancini, Johnny Mathis, Sergio Mendes and The Kingston Trio.
