Bryson Tiller Sets It Off

Bryson Tiller’s new album is out now and he already has plans to take his tunes to more than 25 cities. H.E.R. and Metro Boomin are coming along for the tour.

The singer/rapper’s second full-length album, True To Self, is available for streaming now. That effort is 19 tracks of his patented “trapsoul” sound, blending from-the-heart melodies with pop-friendly raps.

Tiller, a former Pollstar HotStar, is starting his headline dates Aug. 3 at Atlanta’s Fox Theatre. The routing for the “Set It Off” tour continues until Sept. 16 in Louisville, Ky.’s KFC Yum! Center. Metro Boomin doesn’t play Sept. 15 in Chicago, but all the rest of the shows feature H.E.R. and the young hitmaker.

Before taking center stage on the headline tour, the crooner also known as Pen Griffey is performing at the Staples Center June 23 for the BET Experience June 23. He also has some European festival performances planned and a pair of shows with Staples Center.
