Ticketmaster Germany Partners With Billetix

Ticketmaster’s partnership with Billetix increases TM’s reach in the fields of cultural and theater events, which is Billetix’s specialty.

Billetix, based in Lübeck, Germany, will have access to Ticketmaster’s marketing and distribution platform, which operates in 29 countries worldwide.

Ticketmaster Germany CEO Klaus Zemke said he was looking forward to integrating Billetx’s software and being able to offer the significant cultural event sector a premium service.

AEG Facilities To Manage Swiss Arena

AEG Facilities will be in charge of the new home ground of Lausanne Hockey Club Lions

AEG Facilities will be in charge of the new home ground of Lausanne Hockey Club Lions, the Patinoire de Malley, and expand the arena’s functionality.

The revamped arena is to open in summer 2019 in Lausanne, Switzerland. AEG Facilities will provide design and operations input during the construction phase. Once the venue’s completed, AEG will oversee the hiring and training of staff while managing key arena departments, which include event operations, security, ticketing, guest services, marketing, public relations, finance, human resources and overall event management.

Richard Krezwick, AEG Facilities senior vice president, will oversee the project. The new arena will accommodate events ranging from 4,000 to 11,500 people.

Sacha Weibel, Lausanne Hockey Club President said, “Our goal is to become one of the European leaders in the sports & entertainment business and without a strong partner like AEG at our side, this would not be achievable.”

The Lausanne Lions will be playing in a temporary venue while their new home is under construction.
