Queens Of The Stone Age Unveils ‘Villains’ Tour
With the countdown on to Queens Of The Stone Age’s return to the stage, the band just announced a bunch of autumn dates in North American and Europe.
Fans have been waiting since 2014 for a full-fledged tour from QOTSA. The guys have a few previously announced one-off gigs scheduled before the heavy duty touring stars. The band is scheduled to play a sold-out show June 22 at Rapids Theatre in Niagara Falls, N.Y., and appear at Montebello Rockfest in Quebec June 24. After that the guys head to Australia and New Zealand in July.

Following San Francisco’s Outside Lands Aug. 12, the North American portion of the “Villains” trek launches Sept. 6 at The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, N.Y.
Cities on the routing include Toronto, Pittsburgh, Salt Lake City, St. Louis, Detroit and Boston.
The European outing begins Nov. 4 in Bologna, Italy. Josh Homme and the crew have signed on for shows in Austria, Switzerland, France, Germany, Netherlands, Denmark, Belgium, the United Kingdom and Ireland.
The tour is in support of QOTSA’s seventh studio album, Villains, which is due out Aug. 25 on Matador.
Presales for the tour begin June 20. Fans who pre-order the new album from Matador or the band’s website will get first dibs on tickets to the North American tour. Fans can also nab presale tickets by signing up through Ticketmaster’s Verified Fan program before June 17 at 7 p.m. PDT. Spotify and individual venues are also hosting presales.
General onsales start June 22.
