Driver Arrested After Rick Ross Concert

Police in Wallingford, Conn., arrested a female driver after she allegedly hit two people and several vehicles as she left a Rick Ross concert June 16.

Police said Shelby Coughlin struck one person outside the Toyota Oakdale Theater. As she attempted to flee the scene she hit another person trying to stop her car.

Coughlin allegedly drove away at a high rate of speed and crashed into multiple vehicles in the parking lot.

Police said officers working security were able to run alongside the car and break a window to stop Coughlin’s attempted escape.

Several people were treated for minor injuries at a nearby hospital.

Coughlin is charged with driving while intoxicated and assault among other charges. police reported.

The Hartford Courant reported Coughlin allegedly resisted arrest by biting an officer and damaging a police car.
