Foo Fighters Go For Gold
Last year, there was a rumor that Foo Fighters would be breaking up. Not only is that rumor false, the Foos are releasing a new album in September, with a launch party and tour to accompany the new project.

Dave Grohl and Foo Fighters bring it on at BottleRock Napa Valley at Napa Valley Exposition in California May 28.
Dave Grohl issued a statement about the album and release party at Glen Helen Regional Park And Fairgrounds in San Bernardino, Calif., Oct. 7. “Cal Jam 17” will feature 22 of the Foo’s favorite bands, including Queens of the Stone Age, Cage The Elephant, The Kills, Liam Gallagher,
The tour will run from that event in San Bernardino to Dec. 12 in Salt Lake City. The venues are mostly stadiums. Support is being offered by The Struts.
You can get access to a presale by pre-ordering the album.
The Foos are currently touring Europe, with stops planned in Southeast Asia afterwards.
The new album, Concrete And Gold, is due out Sept. 15. Of the LP, Grohl said it “has more twists and turns than a live senate hearing. Like a box of really loud chocolates.” The project is also described as the Foos “biggest sounding” record ever, with assistance from Greg Kurstin.
