Chase Rice Announces ‘Lambs & Lions’ Tour
Chase Rice rolled out the schedule today for the “Lambs & Lions Tour,” with a mix of “gritty clubs, festivals, arenas, and some of the most revered music venues” in the U.S., as well as a run of gigs in the U.K.
Lambs & Lions is the name of the country’s star upcoming album, the follow-up to 2014’s Ignite the Night.

“CMC Rocks QLD,” Willowbank Raceway, Willowbank, Australia.
A post on Rice’s website points to a recent feature from Rolling Stone’s Marissa R. Moss, which describes the new album as “a chance for him to move past bro-dom, experiment with new sounds and textures, and discuss much more than just the party. It’s about finding faith in relationships and learning how to persevere when things get a little tough, and is also an emotional dip into the world of an artist who, like many of his peers, was dismissed before he could reach a lot deeper.”
The tour officially kicks off Sept. 14 in Boone, N.C., at Appalachian State University.
Stops on the routing include Knitting Factory Concert House in Boise, Idaho; House Of Blues in Dallas; O2 Institute Birmingham in England; Terminal 5 in New York; The Fillmore Detroit; and Stage AE in Pittsburgh.
