Chris Rock Slips In Secret Shows During Australia Tour

Chris Rock has the crowd in stitches at Hard Rock Live in Hollywood, Fla., March 29.
But patrons of comedy club nights in two cities also got to see him for A$20 ($15.10) when the star unexpectedly dropped in to road-test some new material during a 35-minute set.
The first was at the Comedy Lounge in the Charles Hotel in North Perth before 150 people. Bar manager Megan Thomas told ABC Radio said that after a few stunned minutes, the crowd went crazy.
A mother’s group in the audience “were a little bit hysterical and screaming. I had no staff pretty much, they were all watching him on stage. He was hilarious, we were all in tears at the end of the night.”
On the night before his June 26 appearance at the 10,500-capacity Hisense Arena in Melbourne, he also turned up to the 400-seater The Comic’s Lounge for more routines.
This time the entry fee was A$15 ($11.35). Rock is expected to do another club set in Sydney where he plays
