New Name For U.S. Cellular Coliseum

The U.S. Cellular Coliseum entertainment facility in Bloomington, Ill., is now Grossinger Motors Arena.

The Bloomington, Ill., venue is now the Grossinger Motors Arena.

The name change is effective immediately after the auto dealership was awarded the naming rights for the next five years, according to The Pantagraph. 

Grossinger representatives stated at a news conference at the arena, that the new partnership allows the auto company to enhance its ties to the Twin Cities community. 

The Chicago area-based company takes over the lead sponsorship of the arena from U.S. Cellular, which held the lead sponsor position until March, 2016.
