ACM Reveals Industry Winners

The Academy of Country Music is once again honoring the genre’s cream of the crop when it comes to venues and live event booking and promotion, revealing the list June 27.The award winners will be honored at the 11th ACM Honors at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville Aug. 23.

This year’s winners include Tortuga Music Festival as the festival of the year, Ed Warm of Joe’s Live as promoter of the year and Lenore Kinder of AEG Live got the Don Romeo Talent Buyer of the Year award.

Nightclub of the year is Joe’s Live in Rosemont, Ill.

The small capacity casino of the year is Foxwoods Resort Casino in Mashantucket, Conn., and the large capacity winner is The Joint @ Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.

No surprises for the various venue awards, as the small capacity venue of the year is Ryman Auditorium, the medium capacity venue getting that honor is Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colo., and the large cap winner is Bridgestone Arena in Nashville.
