Frankfurt Honors Lieberberg

German concert promoter Marek Lieberberg received the badge of honor from his hometown Frankfurt, presented by the city’s mayor, Peter Feldmann, June 23.

The mayor said the Live Nation Germany CEO deserved the accolade for his commitment to rock and pop music. Feldmann said the promoter championed philanthropy and took a stand against racism and xenophobia.

The nearly endless list of international superstars Lieberberg has brought and brings to Germany rightfully made him a trailblazer of rock and pop music in Germany. He is also known as founder of the famous Rock am Ring and Rock im Park festivals.
