Greenebaum Joins Blizzard

Sig Greenebaum, former co-director of the Voodoo Music + Arts Experience in New Orleans, has left that position for a job in competitive video games.

Now the head of global live events for Blizzard Entertainment’s Overwatch League, Greenebaum will oversee competitions of the first person shooter game developed under the Activision company. 

From the early 2000s Greenebaum worked with Rehage Entertainment as Voodoo blossomed and then C3 Presents after Live Nation bought majority stake in the festival. 

His co-director Don Kelly will continue to manage the festival after his departure. 

A tweet from the game’s official twitter in January indicated there were more than 25 million players worldwide.
