Von Braun Center Unveils Expansion Plan

The Von Braun Center in Huntsville, Ala., is considering a $42 million expansion to the downtown facility.

Officials with the arena, meeting and performing arts complex presented a plan for expansion to the Huntsville City Council. Details of the upgrade include a ballroom/multipurpose space, meeting rooms, kitchen, parking garage expansion, renovation to North Hall, and a new music hall, according to the Huntsville Times. 

The upgrades are meant to meet the increased demand for one of Alabama’s largest entertainment venues.
