LN Middle East And Cartoon Network Team Up

Live Nation Middle East and Turner Broadcasting’s Cartoon Network are to produce a new live stage production, bringing the network’s most beloved characters to the stage.

The new show, dubbed Cartoon Network Live!, will tour various cities in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, according to Live Nation’s announcement.

Cartoon Network EMEA and Live Nation Middle East intend to turn “Ben 10,” “The Amazing World of Gumball,” “Adventure Time” and “The Powerpuff Girls” – all Cartoon Network programs – into an interactive stage production for kids older than 5.

Directing the production is Bart Doerfler, known for his work on The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios Hollywood, The Walt Disney Company, The Ringling Brothers Barnum & Bailey Circus, Holiday On Ice and Dreamworks.

He is joined by a creative team consisting of Stephen Emmer (Musical Director), Cynthia Nordstrom (Costume Designer), Jan Kortbeek (Lighting Designer) and Marinus de Graaf (Set and Projection designer).
