Opry Party to Out Shine the Sun

The Grand Ole Opry is bringing out some of music’s biggest stars to brighten one of the most famous stages in the world during the historic total eclipse of the sun. 

The Opry party is positioned to be in the direct path of the eclipse and will celebrate the event with a special Sunday Night Opry show on August 20.  The show features a star-studded line up including Little Big Town, Darius Rucker, Wynonna, and more. 

The celebration continues the next day with a free Total Eclipse Plaza Party bringing together the sounds of Nashville and the sight of the total eclipse.  The party will feature live music on the Plaza stage, commemorative gifts and eclipse glasses, and eclipse-themed food and drink. 

Opry House Backstage Tours will also include an August 20 post-show tour and tours throughout the day on August 21, recognizing artist whose career achievements have eclipsed all others in the field. 

Show tickets and total eclipse packages go on sale on Friday, July 7 at noon CDT.
