Due to overwhelming demand, tickets for the bash will be chosen via lottery-style drawing with registration now open at RedRocker.com, according to the announcement.
“It would be impossible to pick my favorite year but I got a feeling it’s still to come,” the Hagar said in the announcement.
The annual event, now in its 27th year, always features guest stars and performers, but those will be announced later, and some won’t be announced until they hit the stage.
The announcement only says “with a little help from his friends & redheads.”
Past guest stars have included Van Halen members, Kenny Chesney, Iggy Pop, James Hetfield, Stevie Wonder, David Crosby, and many more.
The Cabo Wabo Cantina combines Hagar’s love for the Mexican resort city with hand-crafted tequila. There are nine Cabo Wabo restaurants in the U.S.
