Live Nation Inks Partnership With Stateside’s Charlie Levy

Live Nation and Charlie Levy of Stateside Presents have entered a partnership with the soon to be completed The Van Buren in Phoenix.

The 1,900-capacity venue is set to open in late August with a sold-out show from Cold War Kids. Other acts on the docket include Death Cab for Cutie,  Chase Rice, HIM, Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley, and Ani DiFranco.

“Tapping more deeply into Phoenix is the next logical move for us,” House of Blues Entertainment President Ron Bension said. “It is a vibrant music market, which we’ve enjoyed with Comerica Theatre. What a great opportunity to build a new state-of-the-art club while partnering with the area’s pre-eminent independent operator.”

The Van Buren will be affiliated with LN’s House of Blues Entertainment division.
