Mike Gordon Ready To Ogogo In NA

Mike Gordon, best known as the bass player of Phish, has a new album on the way and he is rocking spots around North America to let the people know.

The album, titled Ogogo, is due out Sept. 15. The first single, titled “Steps,” is available for listening now.

Mike’s solo tour will begin in Athens, Ga., Sept. 22 and continues for a few weeks, ending with a two nights at Boulder Theater in Boulder, Colo Oct. 13-14. The venues are mostly theaters, focused in the regional South, Northeast and Midwest.

Tickets are available through a presale now and the general public gets a crack at them July 14 at 10 a.m. EDT.

Mike Gordon’s band for the tour will be Scott Murawski on guitar/vocals, Robert Walter on keyboards, John Morgan Kimock on drums, and Craig Myers on percussion.

Fans that want to see Gordon play with Phish can see him at Chicago’s Huntington Bank Pavilion July 14-16. After that there are a few isolated shows  in Ohio and Pennsylvania , followed by 13 gigs at Madison Square Garden Arena  in July and August in New York and then three gigs at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City, Colo., Sept. 1-3.
