Brian Setzer Orchestra Books Xmas Tour

The Brian Setzer Orchestra will be rockin’ around the Christmas tree before you know it. The swing revival band just unveiled the schedule for its 14th annual “Christmas Rocks! Tour,” with tickets going on sale this week.

Setzer and his 19-piece orchestra will celebrate their 25th anniversary with a special show at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles Aug. 2.

The holiday road trip kicks off Nov. 10 at the State Theatre in Setzer’s adopted hometown of Minneapolis.

Stops on the 30-city tour include Cincinnati, Philadelphia, Orlando, Nashville, Houston, San Francisco and Seattle. The last gig on the books is Dec. 28 in Bellingham, Wash., at the Mount Baker Theatre.

The setlist will feature tunes from TBSO’s three holiday albums, as well as original material from Brian Setzer. The group’s most recent Christmas LP, 2015’s Rockin’ Rudolph, includes classics like “Here Comes Santa Claus” and “Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas” along with “Rockabilly Rudolph” and “Yabba-Dabba Yuletide.”

A fan club presale and a Sirius XM presale began today. Local presales start July 20. Tickets go on sale to the general public July 21.
