Weldens collapsed while performing in the town’s church, the Église Notre-Dame des Cordeliers de Gourdon, as part of the festival, according to a report on Europe1.fr.

The report states she suffered from cardiac arrest, while other reports speculate about a possible electrocution. Weldens released her debut album Le Grand H de l’Homme in February after winning two talent awards in 2016.

The Léo Ferré show was part of a tour through France.
