Kellie Pickler Joins Phil Vassar For Christmas Tour

They’re making a list! Phil Vassar and Kellie Pickler are plotting a Christmas tour later this year and have collaborated on a single for the occasion.

The festivities begin Nov. 24 in Wheeling, W. Va.’s Capitol Theatre, and continue for just under a month, wrapping up in Charlottesville, Va., on Dec. 23. The routing mostly sticks to the regional Midwest and South, including stops in Ohio, Illinois, Wisconsin, Arkansas, and North Carolina.

Tickets to the tour go on sale to the general public July 28.

The next place to catch Vassar is at SugarHouse Casino in Philadelphia on Aug. 5. Pickler’s next gig is Aug. 20 at Rams Head On Stage in Annapolis, Md.

The celebratory single is a duet titled “The Naughty List,” and was co-produced by Vassar’s long-time friend Dane Bryan.

Vassar has had success as an artist and also wrote songs for the likes of Tim McGraw and Alan Jackson. He had a 2011 holiday album, titled Noel, so his set will no doubt include works from that.

Some of Pickler’s best known holiday tunes include covers of “Santa Baby,” “The Man With The Bag,” “My Christmas Caroline,” and a version of “White Christmas” with Rams Head On Stage.
