The rock band’s eighth full-length album, Woodstock, was released in June on Atlantic Records. The LP includes the hit single “Feel It Still,” which Portugal performed on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” last week. The tune is climbing the Top 40 and alternative radio charts and is also getting lots of play at college radio.
Following a North American summer tour and a trip to Europe in September, the fall outing launches Oct. 2 in Bloomington, Ill., at The Castle Theatre.
The guys have lined up several nights in Texas to go along with appearances in Austin City Limits, including gigs in El Paso, Houston and Dallas.
Additional stops include Tulsa, Okla.; Guadalajara, Mexico; and Raleigh, N.C. The fall road trip wraps up with an appearance at Suwannee Hulaween in Live Oak, Fla., Oct. 29.
A number of presales are scheduled this week. Tickets go on sale to the general public July 28.
Select dates feature support from Lido, Maybird, and Cut Copy.
