R. Kelly dates in New Orleans, Baton Rouge, and Dallas Aug. 11-13 and a Los Angeles show in October appears to be canceled, with the shows removed from primary ticketing sites.

A TMZ report cites poor ticket sales for the cancellations, saying that a July 28 show at Virginia Beach was less than half full.

The cancellations come right after R. Kelly was making press for allegedly running a kind of cult where women, some underage, were “brainwashed” and forced to obey orders.  Kelly has dismissed the allegations and said he would be coming to the East Coast to do his shows.

He still has August dates in the South and Midwest, as well as some West Coast dates in October.

 

2 Chainz Postpones Following Injury

2 Chainz has postponed the first five dates of his Pretty Girls Like Trap Music tour after injuring his knee over the weekend.

Hall & Oates / Tears For Fears Reschedule CA Dates

California dates featuring Daryl Hall & John Oates and Tears For Fears have been rescheduled from late July shows to mid-September.

The new dates are as follows:

July 28 tickets will be honored for the Sept. 14 date, and July 29 tickets will be honored for the Sept. 15 date, according to a statement from promoter AEG Presents.  Fans unable to attend the new dates will be offered refunds at point of purchase.

Tears For Fears recently postponed the remainder of its tour, including the dates with Daryl Hall & John Oates, citing a family emergency.
