Flambeau Fest Unveils Initial Lineup

Sam Hunt, Hank Williams Jr. and Lynyrd Skynyrd are on board for the inaugural edition of Flambeau Fest.

The festival will make its debut Oct. 7-8 at the Lamar Dixon Expo Center in Gonzales, La.

The event takes its name from the processional torch of Mardi Gras and aims to be “the new torchbearer for American music in the South.”

Today’s lineup announcement also includes Dustin Lynch, Chase Rice, Blackberry Smoke, and Jacob Davis.

Stay tuned for more acts to be added. Flambeau will feature more than two dozen artists on three stages.

The Main Stage will be the place to catch A-list country artists and Southern rock icons. Over on the Torch Stage you’ll find rising stars in country music, including regional breakout acts.

The Nashville Songwriter stage will feature acoustic performances from some of the best Music City hit songwriters.  

The songwriter stage is located inside the Louisiana Libations Tent, which will be serving up tastings from local craft breweries, distilleries and wineries. Be sure to bring your appetite to the Food Promenade, which will offer a variety of authentic cuisine from the region’s vendors.

Early-bird, two-day general admission tickets are on sale now for $119. VIP packages are also be available. The general onsale begins Aug. 11 at 10 a.m. CDT.

The festival is being produced by Covington, La-based Pi Entertainment, with Mark Miller at the helm as festival director.
