Little Steven Announces ‘Soulfire Tour 2017’
After bringing heart and soul to Europe this summer, Little Steven and the Disciples of Soul have signed on for a North American tour this fall. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame member has also booked more gigs in Europe.
With Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band off the road since February, Steven Van Zandt has been having fun supporting his new solo album, Soulfire.

The Lancashire Telegraph was there for Little Steven and his 15-piece band’s recent concert at Manchester Academy.
“A keen student of rock and roll, this was Van Zandt offering up a master class of all the different aspects of the music he loves. Soul, funk, doo-wop – even reggae – all formed part of the set. If Phil Spector had broadened his horizons further, this would be the end product. It was a massive, multi-layered, sensory experience, which tugged at the heartstrings one moment and left you grinning from ear to ear at the next,” John Anson writes in his review.
The North American tour follow a Sept. 21 appearance at the Laid Back Festival in Holmdel, N.J., with Jackson Browne, Peter Wolf, and Jaimoe’s Jasssz Band.
The first stop on the headline outing is Sept. 23 at The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, N.Y.
Cities on the routing include Boston, Philadelphia, Chicago, Toronto, San Francisco, Los Angeles and Dallas.
Little Steven & Co. return to Europe in November for shows in the United Kingdom, Germany, Netherlands, Italy and Spain.
A presale for Citi cardmembers began today through Citi’s Private Pass program. General public onsales start Aug. 11.
