Trans-Siberian Orchestra Haunts the Holidays
The Trans-Siberian Orchestra returns to the road for the 2017 edition of “The Ghosts of Christmas Eve” tour, bringing grand, holiday themed music to more than 60 cities.

Based on the orchestra’s DVD and PBS fundraiser of the same name, the tour features new takes on yuletide favorites such as “Christmas Eve/Sarajevo 12/24,” “O’ Come All Ye Faithfull,” “Good King Joy” and “This Christmas Day.” This edition of the tour will also honor Trans-Siberian Orchestra founder Paul O’Neill, who died in April.
The routing begins Nov. 16 in Erie, Pa., and will bring the band to cities such as Denver, Seattle, Philadelphia and Chicago. The winter adventure concludes with two shows Dec. 30: one at the
Fan club members will receive access to presale tickets Sept. 6, with general tickets going on sale Sept. 15. As with past renditions of the tour, portions of each ticket sold will go to local charities. The band has raised more than $13 million to date.
