Darkest Darks, Lightest Lights drops Oct. 6, with two singles from the album already released, including the brand-new “Avalon.”
The White Buffalo, also known as songwriter Jake Smith, talked to Pollstar in 2013 about his career, songwriting process and having his music on the hit show “Sons of Anarchy.”
The new tour takes in much of the American Western frontier like Idaho, Utah, Colorado and New Mexico, where he plays in November. It then moves to the Midwest, East Coast and then clear across to California, where he has five dates Jan. 13-24 from San Diego to San Francisco.
The tour will keep him on the road through the end of February, heading back to the South before ending at the Crescent Ballroom in Phoenix Feb. 24.
Over the course of the last decade, Smith has toured alongside the likes of Ryan Bingham, Jack Johnson, Xavier Rudd, State Radio, Ziggy Marley, and most recently Flogging Molly.
