The Used Cruise Through NA

The Used is hitting both coasts in a month-long fall tour this year, with Glassjaw holding down the support duties.

The tour opens on the West Coast in San Francisco at The Masonic on Oct. 27. The routing goes through the regional Midwest, South and the East Coast before eventually returning West, wrapping up Nov. 29 in Seattle.

A presale opens today and the general onsale starts Aug. 25 at 10 a.m.

The rockers have come a long way since coming up in the early 2000s. Their last full tour sent them through North America and Australia. They did pretty well Down Under, mostly playing 1,000-2,500 capacity rooms. The same size rooms were on the menu in North America, though played for audiences of more than 7,000 as openers for The Masonic.

The band’s membership is Bert McCracken on vocals, Jeph Howard on bass, Dan Whitesides on drums and Justin Shekoski on guitar. Original drummer Branden Steineckert left the band in 2006 and went on to play with Rancid. Original guitarist Quinn Allman left in 2016 after a one-year hiatus from the band.
