Vance Joy Lays It On U.S.

Wrapping up a sold-out world tour that took in England, Canada and his native Australia, Vance Joy has plotted a fall U.S. headlining tour that kicks off Sept. 30 in Seattle.

The tour celebrates Vance Joy’s newest single, “Lay It On Me,” which dropped in July and has more than 1 million hits on YouTube.

From there he goes east to Denver, Minneapolis, Nashville, Washington, D.C., Philadelphia, Boston and ends up in Brooklyn Sept. 23.

Joy is just finishing up a slew of North American festival dates including Panorama in New York, Lollapalooza in Chicago, Osheaga in Montreal, and Outside Lands in San Francisco.

Joy, who just filmed a special episode of PBS’ “Live From The Artists Den” to be aired in 2018, was 2015’s most played artist at alternative radio in 2015, when he was direct support for Taylor Swift’s 1989 mega-tour.

Presales began Aug. 22, with a Spotify presale starting Aug. 23 and local presales Aug. 23-24. The public onsale is Aug. 25.
