Harvey Forces Texas Cancellations

Coldplay, Lady Antebellum, and Mary J. Blige shows are all being called off as Hurricane Harvey heads for the Lone Star State this weekend.

Coldplay’s gig tonight at Houston’s

Lady Antebellum was supposed to play at the

Mary J. Blige has moved her performance scheduled for tonight in Sugarland, Texas to Sept. 19.

The Houston area still has Lyle Lovett & His Large Band, The Piano Guys, and

A rep from House of Blues told us that the Simple Plan show was still on as of press time, though if weather conditions worsen that can still change.

Hurricane Harvey is likely to bring winds of 74-110 mph into Texas this weekend. The National Hurricane Center said that the effects of the storm can span hundreds of miles from the center, which means Harvey may also be felt in Louisiana and Arkansas.

We advise ticketholders in any of the affected areas to check with the scheduled venue before leaving home.
