Tricky Locks In North American Plans

Trip-hop pioneer Tricky is headed for North America this fall shortly after his upcoming ununiform album hits shelves.

The performances start at Higher Ground – Ballroom in South Burlington, Vt., on Oct. 5 and run for a few weeks, ending at Curtain Club in Dallas Oct. 21. Along the way he has stops planned at Toronto, Nashville, New Orleans and Afro-Punk Festival in Atlanta on Oct. 15.

Tickets to these shows are on sale now.

The album is due out Sept. 22, and the video for “When We Die” featuring Martina Topley-Bird is available for viewing now.

                                                                           

Tricky just played Balla Coi Cinghiali festival in Cuneo, Italy, yesterday. Prior to that, the last dates we have on the books from him were in 2016.

Our records show his last tour with Higher Ground – Ballroom as support did decent business in clubs and theatres around the U.S. Ticket prices are very affordable and it seems like he is still trying to keep his gigs accessible to younger audiences.
