Topshelf Artists Take On North America Together

Topshelf Records are taking label artists Prawn, Slingshot Dakota, and People Like You on tour around North America for a label tour.

Us and Us Only and Queen Moo are splitting opening dates for the tour, but Prawn, Slingshot Dakota and People Like You are booked for all the gigs.

The first night is Dec. 9 at Washington, D.C., at Song Byrd. Us and Us Only joins for the first leg of the tour, until Dec. 17 in Cleveland. Queen Moo comes along from Dec. 19 in Pittsburgh to Dec. 23 in Philadelphia.

Tickets for select dates go on sale Aug. 30 and tickets seem to be under $20 in most venues.

Topshelf Records is an independent label based out of San Diego. The company website proudly proclaims they are distributed by Redeye Worldwide. Their stable of artists with tours on the books includes Lite, No Joy, Bellows, Clique, Field Mouse, Full of Hell, Jay Som and Have Mercy.

Prawn has a big European routing ahead of the label tour, jumping off at Gibus in Paris with The Flatliners on Sept. 21. People Like You has a few gigs planned in Massachusetts and Slingshot Dakota is scheduled to play “Gibus” in Tampa, Fla., on Oct. 26.
