Liam Gallagher Hits The UK

Liam Gallagher’s next solo album is ready for preorder, and tour dates in his native UK have been announced for his adoring fans.

Preordering the upcoming As You Were album gets you access to a presale for the tour on Sept. 6. The general onsale for most dates is Sept. 8.

He has one October date scheduled in the U.K.: Oct. 30 in Belfast, Northern Ireland. The bulk of the U.K. tour is in December, with the last stop planned for Dec. 16 at Manchester Arena.

Of course any mention of Liam will bring memories of happier times to Oasis fans around the world. The band built on the musicianship of Liam and Noel Gallagher doesn’t seem likely to reunite any time soon, as Liam publicly criticized Noel for not joining him at the One Love Manchester concert earlier this year.

A number of singles from Liam’s new album have already been released. Check out a live version of “For What It’s Worth” below. The album is scheduled for release on Oct. 6.

The U.K. dates mean Gallagher is now booked for full tours on three continents: North America, Europe and Australia. His next few plays are festivals in Italy, Spain and in Southern California. He also is scheduled to hit Dubai, United Arab Emirates in November.

We don’t have many reports from Gallagher’s solo tours, but what we do have seems to be positive. He sold out a show in Dublin earlier this year and has played at a successful festival in Osheaga and a packed aftershow at Manchester Arena.
