Ticketmaster Mobile App Outage
Ticketmaster had a server issue Aug. 31, just in time for Thursday night NFL preseason games, some baseball and college football events to begin.

In addition to a barrage of tweets complaining to @ticketmaster, Kansas City, Mo., station KCTV reported that the Chiefs game at Arrowhead Stadium was experiencing difficulties, and its ticket office confirmed that Ticketmaster was having “technical difficulties.”
The stadium told KCTV that if fans were already at the stadium, “they should visit the ticket office for assistance and refunds, if they paid at the gate for tickets they already paid for through Ticketmaster.”
Outages were also reported via Twitter at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta – where the Falcons were to play the Broncos; Sun Devils Stadium at Arizona State University in Tempe, and at the U.S. Open tennis tennis tournament in New York City.
Clarification: This story originally said the outage appeared to involve TM’s mobile app. A spokeswoman for the company clarified, “Last night’s outage was a server and network infrastructure issue with a product called AccountManager and this prevented fans from logging into their accounts.”
