Created by the Jesuit Refugee Service and the United Nations Commissioner for Refugees, the UN Refugee Agency, the tour is a series of intimate acoustic performances whose proceeds help support expanded education opportunities for dislocated people via the JRS’s Global Education Initiative.
In addition to Baez and Carlile, the tour also features Lila Downs, Steve Earle, Patty Griffin, Emmylou Harris, The Mastersons, Dave Matthews, Lucinda Williams, Buddy Miller, Alynda Segarra and special guests. Not all the artists will perform at each concert however, as each date’s lineup is different.
The Oct. 3-15 tour will visit cities including Seattle, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Dallas, and more.
Tickets for all the dates, except for the San Francisco concert, which has yet to reveal its lineup, are on sale now.
