IEBA Nominees Announced

International Entertainment Buyers Association announced its 2017 Industry Awards nominees Sept. 7.

Categories are club, casino of the year, theatre, arena, amphitheatre, fair, festival, club buyer, casino buyer, corporate buyer, international buyer, fair buyer, festival buyer, venue exec, young professional, talent agent and promoter.

Here are the nominees from some of the categories: Theater of the year nominees are Apollo Theater, Beacon Theatre, Bellco Theatre, Chicago Theatre, Fox Theatre(Atlanta), The Novo, and Shrine Auditorium & Expo Hall.

Arena of the Year nominees are Air Canada Centre, American Airlines Center, Barclays Center, Bridgestone Arena, Madison Square Garden, Moda Center, and T-Mobile Arena.

Festival nominees are BottleRock Napa Valley, Country Thunder USA, The Governors Ball Music Festival, The Hangout Music Festival, Newport Folk Festival, Outside Lands Music and Arts Festival, Stagecoach, and Summerfest.

Talent agent nominees are Corrie Christopher (Paradigm), Sam Hunt (Paradigm), Adam Kornfeld (Artist Group Internationa), Cara Lewis (Cara Lewis Group), Brian Manning (CAA), John Marx (WME), Darin Murphy (CAA) and Adam Voith (Billions Corporation).

Promoter nominees are Larry & Fred Frank (Frank Productions), Lenore Kinder (AEG Presents), Mike Luba & Don Sullivan (Madison House Prsents), Ryan McElrath (Live Nation), Louis Messina (MTG), Gregg Perloff & Sherry Wasserman (Another Planet Entertainment), Mike Smardak (Outback Concerts), and Jason Wright (Live Nation).

Winners will be announced at the conclusion of IEBA’s 47th annual conference in Nashville Oct. 17.
