Radio Host Arrested For Ticketing Fraud

New York sports radio personality Craig Carton was arrested in his Manhattan home by FBI agents Sept. 6 for charges of conspiracy and securities fraud.

Carton and co-defendant Michael Wright reportedly told investors that he had connections that give him access to large amounts of tickets for shows from Adele, Katy Perry, Roger Waters, Metallica and Barbra Streisand. 
He then allegedly used capital investment to buy up tickets without any special connections and pay off gambling debts. 
Carton is also facing a related civil case from the Securities and Exchange Commission, according to Bloomberg.
