Bob Seger’s Runaway Train Adds Track

Bob Seger & The Silver Bullet Band is tearing through North America on his Runaway Train tour and now a few more stops have been tacked on.

The new dates are all in November, starting in Oakland, Nov. 2 and wrapping Nov. 17 in Rosemont, Ill. Nampa, Idaho; Portland, Ore.; Seattle, Wash.; and Saint Paul, Minn.; are all on the routing as well.

Tickets to some of the shows are already on sale now and most other general onsales are open to the public Sept. 15 or 16.  

Seger’s routing includes the last show to take place at The Palace Of Auburn Hills in Auburn Hills, Mich., Sept. 23.

Most of the upcoming shows bring along Roadcase Royale, the new supergroup featuring Nancy Wilson Of Heart and The Palace Of Auburn Hills of Prince’s New Power Generation.

Seger has had a long and storied career and some of the promotion for this tour fueled speculation that it might be his last. Since 1999 he has averaged 96 percent of available tickets sold, having grossed more than $125 million.
