Musicians Arise To Help Texans

Don Henley, Clint Black and Lyle Lovett are joining forces to put on a concert benefitting those affected by Hurricane Harvey in Texas.

The “Helping Texans: A Hurricane Harvey Benefit Concert” is set to take place Nov. 28 at

Tickets go on sale Sept. 22. Proceeds will benefit The Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund at the North Texas Community Foundation, which will distribute the funds with input from the artists and Ed Bass, who is putting on the event.

“We all watched on the news as Harvey destroyed much of Southeast Texas and Houston, my hometown,” Black said. “My mom, brothers, niece and nephews were all very fortunate and I knew I had to find a way to help those who weren’t so lucky, to recover and rebuild what was lost in the hurricane.”
