The Great Xscape In The U.S.

The recently reunited R&B group Xscape is headlining a tour throughout the U.S. this winter, and Monica and Tamar Braxton are coming along for the ride.

The dates start in Richmond, Va., Nov. 22 and move throughout different regions of the country, ending in Los Angeles in Jan. 6.

Most of the tickets go on sale Sept. 22, except Richmond, Va.; Charlotte, N.C.; Columbia, S.C.; Houston, Texas; Oakland, Calif.; and Los Angeles, which all go on sale Oct. 6 at 10 a.m. local time.

Xscape reunited for its first full live set in 15 years at Essence Festival earlier this year. Before that the group played a few shows in California.

The group consists of Kandi Burruss-Tucker, Tameka “Tiny” Harris, LaTocha Scott and Tamika Scott. They will be performing hits off albums like Hummin’ Comin’ At ‘Cha, Off the Hook, and Traces of My Lipstick.

In a press release Xscaoe wrote to its fans: “We had so much fun with y’all this summer that we decided to bring the party to cities across the U.S. … This is the tour we’ve always wanted to do and we can’t wait to see you there.”

The ladies of Xscape will also soon star in a documentary series on the Bravo network.
